about

This is about and for the migrant kids incarcerated in Chicago, specifically the 19 children locked up in Englewood at 7351 S. Princeton, Chicago, IL. There are babies in this facility. Their jailors' number is (773)-966-5742.

50% of the children incarcerated in Chicago have coronavirus, due to the tight quarters. 9 out of 10 of them have family members in the States who would gladly take them in.

From Little Village Solidarity Network:

"The US government detains these children to investigate them and their families. What happens in these child detention centers is recast by Heartland Alliance and many media outlets as “care,” as a system of “shelters” that are “essentially summer camps.” In reality, the nearly hundreds of thousands of children, including more than 2,500 children separated under Trump, are held for ransom while the government extracts information on their family, extracts profit from them, and processes them for deportation. This is incarceration, not 'care'. These are jails, not 'shelters'."
